Nina & Frederik were a Danish - Dutch popular singing duo in the late 1950s until the mid 1960s. Their repertoire consisted of a blend of folk music, calypsos and standards. The duo consisted of Frederik van Pallandt and his wife at the time, Nina van Pallandt (nee Moller), married September 1960. They parted in 1969 and eventually divorced in 1976.

Frederik was an avid sailor, and settled in the Philippines in the 1990s, where he became involved with an Australian syndicate involved in the trafficking of cannabis, using his yacht the Tiaping to transport the shipments. He probably got into syndicate issues and died 15th of May 1994 of gunshot wounds, aged 60.
