DJ REN-D BIO / DISCOGRAPHY

Since the early 1990's, Rendy Pisani aka DJ REN-D has been on the forefront of the dance music movement in Malta, considered throughout the industry as the most exiting & top Dj.

As the scene in Malta grew REN-D's talent as a DJ did not passed unnoticed Best known for highly technical and well programmed sets, REN-D's sound can be best described as Twisted, dark and danceable house fusion of techy, minimal, electro, tribal, melodic, sexy, bass-line driven & vocal dubbed elements.

While music has always been a prime passion for REN-D since an early age, in the mid 1990’s, the demand for REN-D live sets transformed this hobby into something much greater.
A mixture of hard work, determination and raw talent has catapulted Ren-D to the status as one of the most definitive and influential artists in the Maltese dance music scene till today, he is considered by many a veteran of the industry acquiring an ever growing army of loyal followers.

Since then, he has had the privilege of playing alongside all best world renowned DJs and live acts through the years.

Aside from holding down a residencies for over two decades at Malta's most legendary clubs Ren-D has continuously held high profile Gig's all over the globe In countries such as Uk, Germany, Spain, Portugal, France, Holland, Poland, Russia, Ukraine, Usa, Italy, South Africa, Greece, Ibiza, and to name a few.

These opportunities have considerably elevated Ren-D's status as a DJ & it was then when
Ren-D began his music production in 1998 at DeepCity Studios in Malta. From there Ren-D published some tracks on the British label Dark House Music / Phuture Trax & the German label Roomshaker (Trinity Funk). Trevor Rockliffe & Scan-X from the french label F Communications have also produced successful remixes of his tracks. Ren-D releases under different project names including: DJ REN-D , XAVIER , 2 FUNKY!, THE AUTOMATES & DEEPCITY.

In 1999 Ren-D moved to Germany to promote his music further. He produced his sound at one of the world's most respected recording studios TIME TOOLS, home of DJs & producers including Timo Maas ,Loco Dice, Andy Bolleshon & Martin Butrich.

From there Ren-D's Career took off on an international scale as his Production & DJ skills shone & he proved that he had what it takes to build a bright & solid future in Global dance music scene.
His productions VOODOO SENSATION - (MAELSTROM REC. UK) & ENVY ME - (Q-RECORDS. SWEDEN) have been featured in the sets of many influential DJ's such as:- Deep Dish, Danny Tenaglia, Pete Tong, Timo Maas, Fergie, Saeed & Palash, Yousef & Hernan Cattaneo. Ren-Ds tunes have featured on BBC RADIO 1 on Pete Tongs ESSENTIAL MIX & Fergie's FRIDAY DANCE. Also being the first ever maltese dance DJ/PRODUCER soloist to hit many charts around the globe.
