Hamfat Ham is a pseudonym used for the vocalist on several releases of The Harlem Hamfats.
Most commonly, it is associated with Joe McCoy. It also was his brother Charlie McCoy (2)’s alias as vocalist when recording with Rosetta Howard. On two April 1938 recordings, Mellow Little Devil and The Barefoot Boy, the pseudonym conceals Hamfats’ leader Herb Morand.
