Mats Nilsson made his recording debut as an adult with the single

Little Steven on guitar, which was released in 1989. Following his debut, Nilsson has been the lead singer and songwriter for the bands
Tellus Y from Ängelholm and
Tonic Truck from Malmö.
In 2000, Mats Nilsson played the drums on the release
Eyesight to the blind, and in 2005, he launched the solo project
Rag-And-Bone. During this period, he began playing the acoustic guitar to facilitate solo performances.The solo project evolved into the band
Rag-And-Bone in 2012.
Mats Nilsson is the owner of
Electric Mud Records in Ängelholm.
