Dutch engineer, born July 16, 1924, 's-Hertogenbosch, Noord-brabant - died October 22, 2023.
He started his career in 1949 in Indonesia as a radio technician, four years later followed by his own studio Geluid- en Opnamestudio Polyhymnia in his birthplace 's-Hertogenbosch. From 1956 on he worked for Phonogram in the Hof van Holland Studio, in the Lumière in Laren and in the Honingstraat Studio, where he also doubled as manager. His last job was at the famous Wisseloord Studios in Hilversum, up until his pension. Thereafter he remained active for specific artists and theater productions, advised upcoming engineers and wrote a couple of books.
