German keyboarder from Hamburg, born in 1946.
He was bandmate of Dieter Horns in the 1960's, when they both played for the Beat band The German Bonds. After the band split in 1970, parts of the band founded the Krautrock bands Asterix and Lucifer's Friend in 1970. In the early 1970's, Hecht was also active as studio musician and as part of Orchester James Last. He left the band at its first split in 1982 and started a new life as painter in Sweden.
