American musician (saxophone, keyboards) and songwriter originally from Portland, Oregon.

After performing with local bands in the East Village of New York City, Jim joined the “John Cale Band” in 1980, and recorded his first major label album with the Velvet Underground star entitled “Honi Soit” An offer to join Los Angeles based glitter pioneers “Sparks” brought Jim to California where he resides today. After spending two years with “Sparks”, Jim joined “The Call”. He wrote, produced, and performed with “The Call” from 1983 until 1991 recording five albums.
