Dès son premier album « No Love Lost » produit par Kit Woolven (Cradle of Filth, Anathema, David Gilmour) LYCOSIA a su imposer une identité forte en créant un savant mélange de riffs saturés et de mélodies dark imparables. Le titre « Retaken » reste une grande référence pour la scène Métal Gothique.

Le second album « Unisex » fut un virage à 180° pour le groupe. C’est à travers celui-ci que le groupe a voulu manifester sa volonté d’élargir son champ de création en incluant des sonorités plus pop. Après un long voyage en Sibérie le chanteur et compositeur Christi Scythe revient avec des instruments turcs, perses qui vont apporter un riche magma d’idées dans les orientations musicales du groupe.

Le troisième album « Lycosia », produit par Stéphane Buriez (Loudblast, Black Bomb A) élargit l’univers artistique du groupe. Il englobe de larges influences dans un ensemble homogène et percutant. La presse française et internationale est unanime. « Lycosia » est un Grand album de Rock ! Par sa qualité artistique le groupe français surprend la presse étrangère. Pour eux, Lycosia rivalise avec les plus grands groupes de la scène internationale. A travers le single Electro/Rock « Travelling Through Our Love » LYCOSIA montre ses capacités à être selon les journalistes « une machines à tubes » ! Avec les titres « Altaï » et « Scythia » le groupe innove en incluant des chants ethniques (mongols, ossètes, russes) et des instruments anciens (luths turcs, cithares kirghizes). Cette démarche originale confère à LYCOSIA une identité singulière, novatrice et influente dans le paysage musical actuel.

Avec le quatrième opus « Apokalipstik » LYCOSIA enfonce le clou : Riffs rock dévastateurs, sonorités électroniques ravageuses et refrains hypnotiques.

Second album Unisex marked a very new direction for the band. Throughout this record LYCOSIA wanted to express the will to widens its fields of creation including more pop sonorities. After a long journey in Siberia, singer and composer Christi Scythe came back with turkish and persian instruments which brought a wide realm of ideas to the new musical orientation of the band.

Third album Lycosia produced by Stéphane Buriez (Loudblast, Black Bomb A) widens the artistic universe of the band. Covering a wide range of influences in an uniform and hitting overall. The french and international press is unanimous: Lycosia is an amazing Rock album! Via their artistic quality the french band surprised the press abroad with their ability to compete with the biggest international bands. According to journalists, their Electro/Rock single Travelling Through Our Love LYCOSIA shows they can be a Hits Machine.
With title tracks such as Altaï and Scythia the band innovates including ethinc choirs (mongolian, ossetian, russian) and ancient instruments (turkisk lutes, kyrgyz zithers). This original approach gives to LYCOSIA a unique identity, innovative and influential in the current musical scenery.

With fourth album Apokalipstik LYCOSIA scores again, devastating rock riffs, destroying electronic sonorities and hypnotic chorus.
