Discovered by deadmau5 for his label mau5trap as a teenager, and with over a decade of releases on trance staples Anjunabeats, Enhanced Music, Monstercat and Blackhole, Graydient Collective label head Julian Gray establishes a fresh approach to dance music in his creations, fusing a forward thinking mix of melodic techno, progressive house and trance.

Currently based in Downtown Los Angeles, Julian was born and raised near Washington, DC. With a musician father and a graphic designer mother involved with the 80's New-Wave scene, music and creative expression was naturally the center of Julian's life from day one. Throughout his childhood, Julian was exposed to a wide range of musical and visual inspirations, instilling a lasting sense of eclecticism apparent in his creative work today.

Julian's discography is made up of over a decade of releases garnering millions of streams, with stand out songs including 'Static' with Zashanell on Anjunabeats, 'Out Here' with platinum selling singer/songwriter Richard Patrick of FILTER released in 2024 on Julian's own Graydient Collective, 'Cold Outside' with Canadian producer Dezza and 'AIR' with 28mm and international sensation FORTS both on Enhanced Recordings and it's subsidiary Colorize, and REVOLVER with Grammy nominated singer/songwriter SOFI.
