Lillian Clark

American vocalist, who performed with many stars of the big-band era
She was married to composer and arranger Sy Oliver (from 1946 until his death in 1988)

Clark originally studied at Juilliard to become a concert pianist. When one of the Clark Sisters left the group in the 1940s, she joined and changed her name to Lillian Clark. She was one of the original Ray Charles Singers, and sang with Ray Conniff Singers, Alan Copeland Singers, and the Norman Luboff Choir.
