US funk guitarist, bassist, songwriter from St. Louis, Missouri. Phil played with many of the great R&B, funk, soul, jazz and blues greats including, Bernie Hayes, Curtis Mayfield, Oliver Sain and Fontella Bass. The Phil Westmoreland band would back Albert King during his tour in 1976.
