Belgian jazz pianist, bandleader and composer, born August 13, 1914 in Brussels, died 1989 in the same city.
He began his professional career in 1931, and formed his own orchestra later in the 1930s. He was appointed the artistic director of Belgian division of RCA in 1957.
He has also been credited as Yvon Debie, Ivon (or Ivan) Debie, Yvon De Bie, and other variations.
