Born on 17-02-1952, Died 11-03-2011.
He played drums at age 14, in one of the first incarnations of BZN, from 10-01-1967 until 17-10-1969.
He replaced Gerrit Woestenburg who had only played live with BZN in 1965-66, and was replaced by
Jan Keizer in 1969.
Jaap went to
Left Side (1970-1972) and played in
De Dekker Band and
Bzn '66 (1997-2000).
Jaap plays on the first four BZN Polydor singles
Maybe Someday / I Don't Want To Give Myself,

For the sixth Polydor single [m=1496413], an old bandphoto was used with Jaap and Evert Woestenburg, but at that time they were already replaced by Jan Keizer and Thomas Tol.
