Eurodance vocalist. She was born in Spain but moved to Wiesbaden (Germany). She joined her first band at the age of 15 and met guitarist Carlos Alfonso de Jesus. In 1994, she was discovered by the team of
Public Art and went on to record 'River' (1994), a huge Eurodance anthem (and the last single of
Torsten Fenslau).
Nonetheless, 'River' kickstarted the career of Raquel Gomez. In 1995, she contributed to
Matador's Ritmo Nacional,
Intermission's Planet Love, Do You Really Want My Love by
Two Heads and You're The One by
Hysterie. Her first solo single was called Man On The Moon, released under the name 'Raquel'.
She later collaborated with
Hope on Future World, Whenever You Want Me by
Powersound and with
C-Block on So Strung Out. She took part to the Garcia project and appeared on T-One (2) Somewhere Out There before coming back to her solo career (single Over And Over in 2002).
In 1999, she gave her voice to the vocal version of Stella by Jam & Spoon.
