Brandt B-Legit Jones began as a member of the Bay Area group The Click in the early 1990's and soon after ventured a solo career on Jive for his first two solo albums. By 1999 B-Legit continued his recording career on many local independent labels where he continues to stay active in the hip-hop scene.
