Bloomdido Bad de Grass was the nickname given by Daevid Allen to sax and flute player Didier Malherbe when he joined his band Gong. Bloomdido was one of Malherbe's favorite Charlie Parker tune, and Bad de Grasse was a pun on the translation of his last name (Malherbe = Bad Grass).
