Pouppée Fabrikk is a Swedish EBM band, started in 1988 by
Henrik Björkk and
Leif Holm, both from Karlskoga.
Firmly rooted in the old school EBM tradition, and inspired by the minimalism of bands like
Deutsch Amerikanische Freundschaft, Pouppée Fabrikk released two hard-hitting, electronic albums: Rage' in 1990 and Portent in 1991. They introduced elements of Death Metal to their sounds on their third album, We Have Come To Drop Bombs in 1994, and took this direction even further on Your Pain – Our Gain in 1999.
In 2013, after a few years on hiatus, Pouppée Fabrikk returned with the album The Dirt, mainly a compilation of re-recordings of materials from the early days of the band. In 2020, they released their proper come-back album, Armén.
