The project Phase Encoder consists of the two producers Boris Pipiorke and Tobias Menguser, located in Frankfurt (Germany). Both already had releases on the label Phuture Wax (label from Tom Wax) as Alex Sword & John Chevalier. Their release Daumenschraube (PWR 002) was played by DJ Rush at the Siegessäule during the Loveparade 2002 in Berlin!!! Originally Boris founded the project Phase Encoder by the end of 2000 and had releases on the labels Shokoy and Intensiv as well as DJ Gigs and Live-Performances. In the future there is a focus on DJ Gigs to improve the name recognition of the project. Both producers work in the music business for a couple of years and had already more than 130 releases world wide in the last ten years. The releases have been on labels like: Highball, Overdrive, Compressed, SOK and GAMB and world wide bookings as DJs and Live Performance had been taken place e.g. in USA, Canada, Italy, UK, Poland, Switzerland.
