Son of Fred Fisher and brother of Dan Fisher and Doris Fisher.

Not to be confused with Marvin A. Marve Fisher (June 21, 1907 – September 1, 1957), who wrote Just An Old Fashioned Girl and co-wrote Ring Those Christmas Bells.
