Swedish musician, journalist and author, radioman, TV producer, record company director and speedway leader, born April 23, 1946 in Gothenburg.

In the 1960s, Rander was a singer in the music group The Shakers from Gothenburg, which reached success at the Swedish top ten (Tio i topp). He later became a leader in the prog movement in this city and the most political branch of this movement. He co-founded the magazine Musikens makt and the progressive record company [l32314]. He also made himself known through the radio program Rundgång on Swedish Radio P3, which presented itself as a music program with its own opinions. In the 1970s, he was also a freelance journalist at Göteborgs-Tidningen and Aftonbladet. He sat on the jury for the Melodifestivalen 1972.

After the record company Nacksving went bankrupt in 1981, he bought the record studio himself and formed the new record company [l334372], which he ran until 1987. He was also a driving force for the ANC gala in 1985. After leaving the music industry, he became a board member of the speedway club in 1988. Kaparna in Gothenburg, of which he was chairman 1998–2007. During the years 1989–1995, Rander produced about fifty TV programs for TV channels, such as ScreenSport, TV3 and Sportkanalen about speedway and ice racing competitions and about sports in general. Since 2009, Rander has been the editor-in-chief of the magazine Speedway Racing, which publishes 10 issues a year.
