RHYME SO is a dance music duo formed by Japan's leading DJ and music producer, Shinichi Osawa of MONDO GROSSO, and Australian poet, performer, DJ, and track maker RHYME. Creating an avant-garde style club sound that combines Shinichi Osawa's floor-shaking beats with RHYME's stylish lyrics that sharply interpret modern life, ushering in a new era of electronic sound. Their debut single “Just Used Music Again” in 2019 was released by 88 rising and was included in 88 rising’s compilation “Head In The Clouds II”. It was added to the popular playlists of various streaming services and attracted attention from overseas music media. After that, RHYME's cynical and witty lyrics were put on a disco track in Fashion Blogger, POSEABLE, a radical take on selfie culture, and Malcolm McLaren's purple masterpiece DEEP IN VOGUE, which appeared on VOGUE. The next release is ``magick'', a collaboration with Vietnam's one and only rapper-poet-singer TAO, where mysterious wonders unravel the world of magic. Their first album IAFB was released on November 24th, disseminating cutting-edge music from Tokyo to the world.
