Simon Doling was drummer in early 90's London based alternative noisy dub acts World Domination Enterprises and Terminal Cheesecake. Touring with both and cutting albums with the latter. He's toured worldwide as a live audio engineer, produced, remixed and also teaches music technology as well in Suffolk, where he's now been based for a while.

Heroes of sound go from Raymond Scott, Holger Czukay and Joe Meek via Jack Dangers, Throbbing Gristle, Adrian Sherwood and The Bomb Squad through to The Neptunes, Bloodshy & Avant, Oh-No & Death Grips (to name a few)

With Test Tone Generators Simon is taking all the influences of the above and ramping them up into a sometimes brutal and apocalyptic affair. An electronic soup, sometimes dubby, sometimes beaty and with a heavy dose of downtuned guitar thrown in.
