Superposition is an American experimental band from Chicago, Illinois, formed in 2004 by Todd A. Carter and Michael Hartman, members of TV Pow and old-time friends and collaborators. They’ve been working together in various ensembles and projects for 30 years, since they performed in an ambient/drone band Liminal in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The duo’s debut album, Glaciers, was recorded and mixed throughout 2021 and 2022 at Todd Carter’s [l610655] and came out in August 2023 on Gerrit Hatcher’s label Kettle Hole, as a limited edition CD and in digital formats.
