Born in Valencia in 1961, Lenaers became the iconic resident DJ at Spook Factory, one of the most emblematic clubs of the Ruta. He was a true pioneer in Spain, celebrated for his innovative and seamless mixing techniques, often utilizing two or even three turntables. His eclectic sets famously blended various genres, from burgeoning electronic music to guitar-driven tracks, significantly shaping the sound of the era.
Beyond his DJing prowess, Fran Lenaers was a founding member of the influential Valencian electronic music act Megabeat in 1990, alongside DJ Gani Manero and producer Julio Nexus.
