Fran Lenaers is a legendary Spanish DJ, musician, and producer, widely recognized as a pivotal figure in the Ruta Destroy (also known as Ruta del Bakalao) movement, Spain's influential club scene centered in Valencia during the late 1980s and early 1990s.

Born in Valencia in 1961, Lenaers became the iconic resident DJ at Spook Factory, one of the most emblematic clubs of the Ruta. He was a true pioneer in Spain, celebrated for his innovative and seamless mixing techniques, often utilizing two or even three turntables. His eclectic sets famously blended various genres, from burgeoning electronic music to guitar-driven tracks, significantly shaping the sound of the era.

Beyond his DJing prowess, Fran Lenaers was a founding member of the influential Valencian electronic music act Megabeat in 1990, alongside DJ Gani Manero and producer Julio Nexus. Under this project, he produced groundbreaking electronic tracks and co-founded the Megabeat Records label. He has also released music under aliases such as Invisible, Sun Corporation, F.Lenaers, and Frank Lenaers.
