The synthesist, multi-instrumentalist and lead singer with Sand, Hannes Vester continued with several projects after Sand's demise. For instance, the curiously named Johannes Vester And His Vester Bester Tester Electric Folk Orch, who recorded an unreleased album, was his attempt to continue the spirit of Sand, blending folk and other musics most uniquely. As a soloist, he explored a very different direction, as a creative synthesist, notably inspired by Klaus Schulze. Recordings of these two facets are featured on the [m1192034] 2cd collection.
