He co-wrote three #1 country songs: Don’t Worry ’Bout Me Baby by Janie Fricke (1982) (co-written by Deborah Allen & Channel), As Long As I’m Rockin’ with You by John Conlee (1984) (co-written by Channel), and Can’t Stop My Heart from Loving You by The O’Kanes (1987) (co-written by Jamie O’Hara). He co-wrote three additional top 5 country songs as well.
