Jazz and pop vocalist, who started her career as a member of the The Music Maids. She initially performed as Dottie (or Dorothy) Mesmer, but when joining Kay Kyser's orchestra in 1943, she was billed as Diane Pendleton. Pendleton was her married name, she had married Beverly Pendleton in 1940.
