Helffrich was the owner and operator of Helffrich Recording Labs in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
The company offered a full range of record production: recording, mastering, lacquer cutting, pressing, etc.
Pete Helffrich script appears in the runouts of Everest, VOX, Nonesuch, and many other releases.

He was a member of the Independent Business Association and the Porsche Club of America.
