In-Effect is one of the new breed of DJ / Producers currently rising to fame in the Hardcore scene. Paul first appeared on the scene in early 2001; he had a few releases on Breeze's old label Infinity but now produces exclusive for James Hecttech.

Originally from Cardiff but now based in Hemel Hempstead, Paul got into the Rave scene back in 1992 with his first Rave being Fantazia venue (Castle Donnington). He quickly became hooked, driving miles around to get to events.

Paul has never really stuck to one style of Hardcore preferring a broad range from Hardcore, to nose bleed gabba. He is currently becoming more widely booked at many events like United Dance, Uprising, Elation, Delirium, Fusion, Jailhouse. Labels such as Hecttech, Neophyte and Baby Boom are amongst his favourites influencing his choice of harder edged Hardcore that he is currently producing at the moment.
