Nardwuar the Human Serviette (born John Ruskin, 5th July 1968) is an esoteric celebrity interviewer and musician from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
While best known for his original and extensively researched interviewing style, Nardwuar is also the lead singer and keyboardist for The Evaporators and a member of garage punk band Thee Goblins.
His interviews are frequently shown on Canadian television (via MuchMusic) and printed on a regular basis in magazines such as Razorcake, Chart & Roctober. The outcomes of his interviews are typically varied with some celebrities getting his quirky interview style but many thinking he is simply out to belittle or humiliate them. Nardwuar is, however, a devoted music fan and a champion of even the smallest and most obscure bands, with a fastidious attention to the minutiae of any celebrity's life, often leaving the interview subject bewildered (although often very impressed) as to how the information about their lives was obtained.
