Chilean musician (instrumentalist, composer and musical director), born December 19, 1952 in Santiago. In 1973 he joined Barroco Andino, a band that played classical music with popular instruments. In 1976 he moved to Europe and formed other bands, Amankay (popular Chilean music) and Hoketus (contemporary music). In 1981 he joined Quilapayún, and after the split up between their musicians, he has settled as the band’s musical director. Meanwhile, he has kept contact with contemporary music with his works with Loos and Catch.
