Peter Oakman was born on December 12th, 1943 in Cuffley, Hertfordshire, England. Peter Oakman is the founder member of The Bruvvers who had a string of hits in the sixties including A Picture Of You which was co-written by Peter and went to number 1 in the UK charts in 1962. He passed away in Greece on Friday, September 29th, 2023, following a short illness.
