Writer/producer Ecama (real name Didier Marouani) had an instrumental disco hit with Magic Fly cut with his band Space.
Raymond Knehnetsky rushed out his own version to capitalize (also covering Ecama's Ballad For Space Lovers) and tried to fill out an LP with space-themed tunes, writing a couple himself. (He's credited as Ray Khinehtsky). Knehnetsky was short of material and brought in Costandinos and co-writer Diego Forzay, whose six tracks took the proceedings in a bunch of different directions: Saturn's Brass is a fun, earthy tune driven by an enveloped guitar; Meteor Chase borrows a bunch of salsa motifs.
