Guitarist Kaleta (real name, Leon Ligan-Majek) hails from Porto Novo in the republic of Benin, but lived all his adolescent life in Lagos, Nigeria, a stones throw from Benin. Kaleta has played, toured and recorded with Fela Kuti, King Sunny Ade, Lauryn Hill, Majek Fashek to mention but a few. Kaleta is the frontman to New York based 13 piece Afrobeat band Akoya Afrobeat as well as leading his own band Zozo Afrobeat.
