The radio choir, affiliated with the German broadcaster [l244785] (SWR), received it’s name in 1998. From 1949 to 1959 it was known as Chor Des Süddeutschen Rundfunks, from 1959 until 1998 as Südfunk-Chor Stuttgart. Long-time conductors have been Rupert Huber and Marcus Creed.
