American jazz pianist, bandleader, arranger and composer. Born September 3, 1891 in Louisville, Kentucky. Died December 25, 1958 in Wurtsboro, New York.
Played with Fred Stone's Orchestra and as leader in his own bands Cook's Dreamland Orchestra, Cookie's Gingersnaps, Doc Cook And His 14 Doctors Of Syncopation.
