Joined NZ alt-rock band Headless Chickens as vocalist for their most commercially successful phase, has also done solo work and vocals for acts such as Strawpeople. Worked in television since her first job on Xtra (1997), including as a judge on the first series of New Zealand Idol (2005).

Married to Paul McKessar, Fiona has left full time music behind her and now works in real estate. Born Huntly, New Zealand 1965.
