Sid Unser is a long time photographer. He attended the Leica School of Photography in Wetzlar, Germany. He is married to photographer Linda Unser. Sid also loves music. He began performing as a percussionist at a young age in drum corps. He then marched for Uncle Sam in U.S. Army Band. After leaving the army, he played professionally. He got asked to work in camera store.

Sid’s friend Dale Eck, who is also a [l153566] (DCI) photographer, asked him to help cover DCI events but, according to Sid, “my heart was not there.” After seeing Star Of Indiana had to come back to it. The Unsers have photographed for DCI since 1994. They began doing photography for WGI early in the 2000s, and have taken numerous memorable photos with literally thousands of camera clicks on the UD Arena floor.
