Songwriter and label owner. Married Jo Armstead after she moved to Chicago from New York. Together, they founded Giant Enterprises Inc. (also known as Giant Productions) in 1967. The production team both leased records to larger firms and put out records on their own labels [l71299], [l597720], and [l470641]. Their best successes were productions leased to other labels, most notably with Ruby Andrews, Shirley Wahls, and Garland Green. Also started the publishing company [l487922].
