Swedish tubaist, trombone player and also plays double bass, piano and accordion, born June 19, 1946 in Enskede, Stockholm.

He was trained as a soloist at the Academy of Music in Stockholm and has also had a long-term temporary position in the Royal Court Chapel. He was a member of the Radiojazz group for a time but is perhaps best known as a member of the jazz band Kustbandet, where he plays the sousaphone and bass trombone. He also formed the Kustbandet in the early 1960s together with Kenneth Arnström, Hans Rosten Gustafsson and Christer Ekhé. He is also in the Swedish Jazz Kings and has played with many different artists such as Thad Jones, Kenny Davern, Dizzy Gillespie, Benny Carter and Povel Ramel.
