Was an Italian playwright and dramatist (Rome, 10 July, 1915 - 26 April, 1977) also journalist, became famous for his long artistic partnership with Pietro Garinei inventing together the Italian comedy (unrecognized couple RSG §2.6.2 ). Writers and directors, among the most successful works of the duo Enrico 61, Rugantino, Rinaldo in Campo, Hallelujah Brava Gente, Ciao Rudy (this last variety with Marcello Mastroianni), but the most famous is Aggiungi un Posto a Tavola, a musical with a religious theme played by Johnny Dorelli and Daniela Goggi. They also had the idea of Canzonissima TV program from which derives the majority of TV variety of the last 50 years in Italy.
