The project was established in the year 1994.
The group consists of 2 rappers/songwriters
Mike Griesheimer &
Thomas Detert, singer
Helen Smith and producers
Alexander Stiepel &
Andreas Hötter (A-Team).
They released the singles Let The Rhythm Take Control, The Beat Of The Drum and Save Me in 1994. Then followed in 1995 the singles I Say What I Want and Tell Me.
That year their album Visions was also released.
In the middle of 1996 the track Rhythm And Drums was released. Anticipating Eurodance's decrease of popularity, they wanted to introduce a new style, but the single flopped all over the world. Then they decided to give up Activate and to establish the 666 project. The debut-single from 666 Alarma is a remake of the Activate-song with the same name.
