Italian actress, visual artist and writer born in Rome in 1963. In 1983 she appeared as female protagonist in Andrey Tarkovsky's Nostalghia, and also played roles in such films as Jean-Luc Godard's Nouvelle Vague (1990) and Neil Jordan's Interview with the Vampire (1994).
