The Animalhouse was a five piece band based in Oxford, England; formed in 1997 by Mark Gardener (vocals and guitar) and Laurence “Loz” Colbert (drums) of Ride. They were later joined by the producer Sam Williams, a former member of the Mystics. They released one album, 'Ready to Receive' in 2000, before splitting a year later.
