Brother of songwriters Lester Santly and Joseph H. Santly.
He charted twice as a co-writer in the U.S. with the songs Marie by Ted Lewis & His Band in 1922 (#5) and I'm Sitting Pretty in a Pretty Little City by Henry Burr & Albert Campbell in 1924 (#6).
He was part of the brothers publishing firm [l722726] ([l1115918]).
