Walter Jones was a composer and mix editor. He began composing music in 1977, and started editing mixes in 1983. He worked with various artists before releasing his first solo album in 2003. He worked for various labels such as DFA, Westbound, Supersoul, Cisco/Stevier, HAKT, Permanent Vacation, and Under the Shade. He passed away on April 29, 2021.
