Experimental/minimalist American group from Detroit, Michigan, led by Frank Pahl. The group’s choice of instruments is often unusual: toy piano, music boxes and sirens together with organ, double bass, tenor saxophone and drums.

Joel Peterson - double bass, guitar, percussion
Tim Holmes - tenor and soprano saxophone, bass recorder, toys
Doug Gourlay - drum kit, percussion
Marko Novachcoff - winds, cello

In addition, Pahl and Holmes build automated musical instruments that sometimes accompany the group. The instrument parts come from small motors, Erector Sets, Lincoln Logs and rotisseries, for example.
