Spanish music journalist (b. 24 February, 1940 in Tanger) founder of [l240785], [l213085] and [l689390] reissue labels and [l368615] series. Also founder of [l1447518] in 1977 and later [l403030].
Started working in Radio in 1954 at Pan American Radio de Tánger and later in Radio Vida in Sevilla. Based in Madrid since 1961 he founded in 1963 [l339470] Spanish music magazine until 1968, he released 50 issues (from nº 42 and ahead with 7 record). Some journalist in the magazine were José María García (later sports journalist), Antonio García, Miguel Ángel Nieto, Fernando García de la Vega, Carlos Villegas o Pepe Nieto.
He interviewed to The Beatles in the only 2 gigs in Spain.
After [l339470] close he worked at radio in 1968 Radio Nacional de España (RNE), Radio Peninsular, Radio 1 (RNE) and Radio 3 (RNE) with programs like El Cocodrilo, La Epopeya Del Rock, La puerta verde, Música básica, or 40 años de números uno and also writing on El Alcazar newspaper.
He owned a recording studio in 1972.
