Ximena Sariñana (b. 29 October 1985, Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico) is a Mexican singer-songwriter and actress who lives and works in Mexico City and Los Angeles, California. She came to prominence in 2008, with her debut adult contemporary pop-rock/vocal jazz album on Warner Music Latina, [m=309439], nominated for Best Latin Rock/Alternative Album at the 51st Annual Grammy Awards in 2009 and earning two Latin Grammy nominations for Best New Artist and Best Alternative Song. Sariñana dated musician and guitarist Omar Rodriguez-Lopez between 2008 and 2011.
