* A note to audiophiles: On this recording no effects other than minimal reverb were used. Minuit, Haayo and Midagny were recorded in a large room. This room was used on the other selections for the Sabar ensemble, the drumset and the Balafon. Another room was used for the guitar, the Kora, the Hoddu, the Bass and the vocals. In order to keep a warm live sound the music was mixed using a vintage 24 track Neve board onto analogue tape. Hence some of the inherent nostalgic hiss. Enjoy!
Issued in a standard jewel case with a 12-page booklet. Initial mfg. run issued with O-card. [Disc label differs when compared to In Search Of The Lost Riddim US repress (which is also w/o an O-card).]
